for the past week now I have been restoring my WW2 M1 helmet dated 1944-1945. It was pretty rusty yet still surprisingly had alot of it's original paint left. anyway I was able remove the rust and put a fresh coat of paint. I then weathered the helmet by letting it sit in the sun to fade the paint a bit. I made some natural camouflage by adding dirt to it. Some helmet collectors out there like to fill in the metal pitting, but IMO I like leaving the pitting because that is what adds character to it. I also added some natural scratches to the helmet to give it that "battle wear" look to it. I ordered this decal and helmet netting here @ https://mantheline.com/product/101st-506th-helmet-decal-spade/ @ https://mantheline.com/product/wwii-u-s-1-14-inch-helmet-net-khaki/ Hoping to get them soon. Looking forward to finishing this project up so I can see how it looks in the end. this was a helpful video for me.

I have finally found someone with A&E Khalifa. I have been searching for about a month. All of my usual haunts were out of stock. I was on ebay and saw a seller (that I have bought about 4 soaps from) who had 1 in stock. I can't wait to get it.
Well.... I'm in Blade Acquisition Mode . Trying to find some of my favorite blades is becoming ridiculous. Some have increased in price 3 fold. So I'm cursed to buying bulk or close to it to reduce the price of each blade to a reasonable price. Not sure why the prices are going up so much or why its so hard to find some of the blades I like. I do go through an insane amount of blades, so I've been told, but I do get wonderful results. So..... I think I'm covered for blades when I get theses for my injector razors. BAM! tp
