  1. Morning/
  2. it snowed in cenla. watch out, the saints just might be going to the superbowl.
  3. So it snowed in Tx, LA, Mi, Ky... but not here off of Lake Michigan. :happy102
  4. RRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Trying to find a good music downloading site. Most of them suck. Any suggestions?
  5. Free or fee?
  6. Tom! Yay!

    How are you doing, Tom?
  7. I use Limewire or Frostwire for the downloads.

Works for good for me :happy088
  8. I'm great, thanks! Spent yesterday 75 mi north, in Spokane. Just got here a while ago and saw that I won a 12 days prize! Yay!!!

How're you doing, JoAnna? Seeing any better yet?
  9. Any reason?

Congrats on winning! Don't forget pictures when you get your prize.

Not 100%, but well enough to avoid the crazy drivers.
  10. Yeah, but get your brain bleach ready...

Needed to pick up aqua sox and swim trunks for some PT I'll be doing over the next month (underwater treadmill and some other fun stuff). I was amazed to actually be able to find that stuff in early december. The General Store is a wonderful place! Had to go to the huge and enormous guy's shop (casual male) for trunks. :( Hopefully, that will soon change!

The best news is that after a couple of weeks of seeing more medicos, my pn is vastly improved and pain is greatly decreased. Yay!!! :happy093

Hey, loved the pictures of HRC with Santa! That is some smile on that girl! Made my whole heart glad.
  11. Not sure where/why the brain bleach is needed yet, but I've got it ready.

Yay, less pain! That's awesome, Tom! :agelic13

Thanks. I should have got pics of her opening the huge box of books her Grandma sent her. Talk about a smile!
  12. I've got a freeware/Gnutella-based/P2P client and it works great.

It works fine and is fairly unobtrusive. Watch the options as you install so you don't end up with something odd as your home page (or other annoying stuff).

Shoot me an email if you want to know more...
  13. Evening all. :D
So, updates from the last few days.
Deer hunting was a bust. I saw two doe the first morning, not really of sufficient size, and nothing else the rest of the time.
I might have to try again before season ends.

I survived driving back to Austin through that horrible blizzard. :happy102

And on a sad note, I mourn the loss of my pepper plants. I didn't bother covering them during last night's hard freeze and that proved to be a fatal mistake. The remaining peppers on the vine froze and are now mushy :(
I picked the habaneros this morning. I figure they'll still season a batch of chili.

I hope the rest of you are doing ok this evening. :D
  14. roll tide roll!!!!!!
  15. I know right? WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Heres to a Texas Bama game.
On a sad note I broke my iphone, however I now have a new one.
  16. yeah, I thought so too, but they've got to get by Nebraska, I figured it'd be 28-0 Texas by now!

Hope to see my two favorite teams in the big game (with the edge of favoritism to 'Bama)...but we'll have to wait and see at this point

(Tracey would be happy, though...if he existed anymore! where the crap is he?)
  17. Well they are winning at the half.
  18. true, but barely
  19. Miserable:cool:
  20. headaches suck.

so, after having a flat Saturday on the way to taking daughter to her ballet performance in The Nutcracker, got up Saturday morning with the intent of getting the back tires replaced, since we already went through this about a month ago and the front tires are new.
The one place in town that has the tires for our car (08 Impala) is closed on Saturdays through winter (what the frack?).
So, to Texarkana I go. 35 more miles on the doughnut, after its 20 miles after the last flat.
Got tires fixed, got home. Wife took daughter to last nights performance. Right as they got home ~10:00, my sister called - they're all in from the Nacthitoches fireworks/lights/parade....except my parents always stay til Sunday morning.
Ends up they're taking my mom to the emergency room, face is numb, scared of stroke...ended up being Bells Palsey, praise the Lord, and maybe it will be a scare enough to finally get her to stop smoking.
So finally got home at 2:00 am, my head is splitting.

But, the Crimson Tide won, Texas Longhorns eeked it out, that should be a good game - probably not as good as Bama/Florida, but still good.
