yes i believe so for the original group.they did a reunion or so with new members but i generally don't follow groups once they split up and bring in new members..they always seem to lose a little of what made them special..
the stones, well, they just got old and sound the same, after the disco stones and then the new wave stones i lost interest.love that golden era between 1968-75 with Mick Taylor..
the who were a cool band especially to a young brit teenager like me in the 70s..when Keith Moon died in 1978 they were smart enough to quit after a couple of crap albums..i did see them in 2006 or what was left of them..i called it the "who's left " tour.
ac/dc got a rusty bed spring/squeaky hinge as a vocalist after the demise of Bon Scott..a shame..but they went on to get old like the rest of us.drummers in jail now, rhythm guitarist lost his memory and retired..Angus hasn't ever grown up and still wears short pants..
Peter Frampton found his guitar,30 or so years later..
led zeppelin quit after John Bonham sadly passed.Robert Plant still hasn't got a haircut..,nore has Brian May..they should..
the rest got sucked in to disco and new wave periods and should stay there..:D
Ozzy went on to do a daytime soap opera..as did Gene Simmons..
that's my view of the music scene of the past..love them all for their original works.."resting on laurels" tours aren't for me..
one exception.David Gilmour did an awesome redo of "Echoes" in 2006 .Rick Wrights final performance, and imo is the best recorded version of this epic song to date..:)

and thats the rock journal from your favorite rock sceptic..journalist G..:D

Blair, my oldest daughter showed no interest in driving at age 16. In fact she did not get her license until she was 30 years old. I do not know if it was fear or just a lack of interest.

One beautiful shave. The twisted razor looks very interesting. Do you happen to know how it compares with the Merkur 37c?

Fantastic tobacco shave Joe. The Aramis Tobacco sounds nice accompaniment to any tobacco based shave.
