Superb shave lineup and photo, Jim! I read about that PAA set when it was released and it has me interested...

    Sunday's Shave

    Schick L1
    Personna Blade
    Semogue 820 Boar
    Haslinger Seaweed Shaving Soap
    Dickinson's Witch Hazel
Barrister and Mann Reserve Cool Aftershave
    Soap Dish: Georgetown Pottery

First shave with the Haslinger Seaweed soap. It is my second Haslinger soap and it performs very well. The lathering is so easy and it gives a great post shave feel (though slightly different from the Sheep's Milk version). There's not much scent to it at all according to my nose. I placed it in a ceramic dish I bought from Georgetown Pottery at their studio/shop in Georgetown, Maine about 15 years ago. It was not purchased as a soap dish, but today I thought it would be appropriate for a seaweed soap SOTD picture. My Grandparents bought a cottage on the coast of Georgetown Island in 1977, so I have been going up there my whole life and it's one of my favorite places on Earth.

Easy two passes with the Schick L1 today provided a DFS+ result and no irritation or mishaps.

Great shave, Andrew! My L Type is a Paul Revere. Have you ever tried a twinjector blade? Great blades for extremely close irritation-free shaves!

    Good afternoon guys!

    Shavette Shave #193
    Parkers SRB
    Rockwell 1/2 DE Blade (2)
    JR #290 Synthetic Brush
    Proraso Green SS and Aftershave.

I wanted to do a Chiseled Face Cryogen shave, but the weather on LI is cooler than it has been in recent weeks so I decided against it in favor of Proraso Green. The JR# 290 is such awesome lather maker that it really is like child's play when using it. Proraso is so easy to lather that it was like I was on autopilot. Did get a BBS- shave with no irritation, but one weeper because I tried something different on my stache area. No biggie, it went away with the styptic pen. Finished with the Proraso aftershave. It is such a clean scent, but it really doesn't stick around. However, PAA has a new soap Awesome Sauce that is a great dupe of Proraso Green aftershave. It has some menthol, but not enough to overpower this scent. It comes in both bases. Have a great day guys!

Wonderful shave Andrew! I am glad the soap doesn't smell like seaweed. I like the New England motif on the dish.

    Thanks, Joe and Andrew!
I was intrigued by the scent note on this one as I have nothing like it in my collection. So glad I picked it up, absolutely wonderful scent!
    Excellent shave, Andrew!
Anyplace whose description includes cottage, coast and island has got to be beautiful.
    Thank you, Jeff!
Modern razors have definitely become my rabbit hole.
