    Sounds like some good ideas you had. So you using up what you have in stock of those EO/FO and then phasing out or just dropping them from the drop down menu?

    The allantoin in all splash makes perfect sense as well.

    Too bad you can't drop the sample sizes... I used to complain about stores that didn't have those, but that would simplify things some as well..

    No, cause that is too difficult. If several people order a scent I'm trying to phase out, I'd either have to have them choose a different scent when/if I run out, or re-order the scent to fill the order. Too high maintenance for me.

    I'm also thinking of doing a special order page and an in stock product page. The special orders would have a specific wait time stated. And the in stock would have an inventory level.

    True, but I think I'm going to start making small pucks of unscented soap, and just scenting them as ordered. I'd make big blocks of soap, but I feel the quality would suffer, ie - more clay or oils would end up in one puck and less in another.

    The cream samples are gone. Way too much time involved with those.

    The aftershave samples aren't too time consuming.

    Oh, and I'm thinking about offering "sniffies". Cause it seems like a lot of people order mass quantities of samples just to smell the scents.

    Definitely lots of thoughts working in my brain at the moment.

    Wow.. I was curious what you meant by "sniffies" did a google search and urban dictionary has a ummm interesting def that I doubt you would be putting in the store.

    For me the purpose of getting the sample is often to see if there is a potential skin reaction. However, I don't get that option with most products, so it isn't a big deal if I have to spend the extra $5 to still get what is still a great deal on a great soap.

    I would expect that more out of an official prevert. ;)

    Looks like I am going out for a grocery run.. somebody wants chocolate and she did well enough on her first final back in school to get an A in psych... so who am I to argue?

    good idea not to argue...my wife's at home working on her final today, she's made all A's so far, so I have no doubt she'll continue the trend, but congrats to yours! (and you, I know what you're going through :D)
