    The plan was to use the Wabbit by Tom today, but it did not arrive in time. Maybe I will get it before tomorrow's shave.

    The Proraso Green Shave Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #206 2-band badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the TNNSER razor with a Persona Gem SS PTFE SE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Shave of the Week starting 17 August 2020

    Fine accoutrements "Worlds Finest Safety Razor"
    Gillette Silver Blue or Gillette Wilkinson blade
    Plisson/L'Occitane brush
    Proraso Green SS
    Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe
    Proraso Green A/S

    Using the Fine razor again this week before I finish my thoughts on it. So far it's proven to be a really nice shaver. Just want to try some different blades to be sure cuz I don't use only one blade but have several that I like depending on the razor I use. Anyway, the rest of the stuff are things I have had great success with so we'll see how it goes. Now go enjoy your day folks

    Razor: Everready Streamline 2nd generation-Mfg 1949-53, good blade feel and can deliver a great shave,technique is all about this razor IMO.
    Blade: Gem Personna SS PTFE (7) excellent blade, sharp and great longevity.
    Soap: Colonel Conk Bayrum- mild scent with excellent lather properties.
    Brush: Yaqi Timber wolf 24 mm synthetic- great brush for creating lather with those cloud like soft tips.
    Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of Aloe Vera gel on beard area.
    Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups.
    Post shave: Razorock blue barber with witch hazel + a dollop of Nivea balm.
    Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + 1 blemish weeper= [​IMG] Great shave with my A.S.R ER streamline 2nd gen.
