Yes, it does! That’s always a selling point for me. One of the reasons I didn’t use my Karve as frequently as I could was because of the exposed blade tabs. When I bought the wide body cap that changed!

I did note it as I was doing the edges of N.(North)Porcupine Alley(just below the nose). I remembered to go "nice and easy" around there. I admit to not thinking about other areas, as the shave had better success everywhere else, including South Porcupine Alley(chin), the other most sensitive area.
