Xeric, this was a watch I bought on crowd funding. It is interesting and fun twist on reading the time.
I also picked this one up the other day it's an older [2007] reserve model-- 45mm, Swiss made automatic COSC certified chronometer. According to my timegraph it's only picked up 9/10ths of a second in 31 hours. I know that Invicta has a certain stigma attached to their name, but I really like the look of their dive watches and some of their [mainly older] higher dollar models really are high quality pieces...Although I would never pay full price for one, nor would I buy one of their newer models. If you want serious bang for your buck check out Parnis. A lot of their designs are well done homages but they’re quality pieces.
Actually, I was thinking of picking up one of their Submariner homages with the Swiss ETA movement. Sent from my LM-Q720 using Tapatalk
You won’t be disappointed. If you’re looking to go a notch higher at some point I recommend zeppelin. Classic design and very reliable.
Indeed, I see they have some Sellita, ETA, and Valjoux offerings. I am not into Japanese automatics which they seem to have an abundance of. Maybe I should take a break from the watch buying. The Invicta's weren't the cheap models and I have 2 Oris watches on the way. Just chalk this up as one of my buying sprees. Sent from my LM-Q720 using Tapatalk
Christopher Ward GMT in bronze. Bought this one last year when I was in the UK. A new band for my JLC.
Thanks. I am not a fan of the brushed center links, so I think that I will put a high polish on the bracelet and just re-brush the outer links. I like that Ball it's pretty sharp...Enjoy! Sent from my LM-Q720 using Tapatalk
Been collecting Snoopy & Peanuts memorabilia for decades. Latest addition. NOS 2017 LE 71/3000 Oyster Face Invicta 48mm Automatic Dive Watch. Seiko NH35A movement.
This thread.....insanely addictive. Read start to finish. Sparked an old interest....browsed for way too long....and this shows up. Hamilton Khaki Field Series - King Automatic. I’ve always been one (scatter brain) to want Day & Date on my wrist.
