Not sure maybe they will get back to me soon. I will send it in the morning when I get home. I hope it is close to the original. Fuzzy
Okay, so I talked myself into getting the Harbor Freight Lathe. Drove all the way into Justfarenoughawaytobeannoyingburg and then stood around in Harbor Freight for about 45 minutes while an employee checked in back to see if they had any in stock. They didn't. The display model was missing pieces (of course). "But there should be some on the truck that arrives at 8:00 tomorrow, should be checked in and on the shelf by 3:30 tomorrow." Crap. Seriously, they probably sell 2 of those things a year, at best, and they ran out right when I decide to bite the bullet? That's about right. So, Jim, you up for a short Monday road trip?
Howdy. How's the Y'all. ' Long night at work. Going for some sleep. I am going to passively aggressively attack my bed. You folks have a great day. Oh and Jason I sent you a mail I think. Fuzzy
morning... heating up some water.... gonna try out aeropress #2. Yup... got gifted a 2nd one. However, this one is different.. The markings are different, the walls are a different opaciticity and possibly a different thickness. Its like Aerobie went with a totally different polymer at some point.
morning folks. power went out in the middle of my shower this morning, and so I ended up shaving in the near-dark. didn't nick myself either. it also wasn't a close, or even, shave.
which Monday? today, or 7 moons? yeup........ good luck with the non-battle of little-big-bed.... hmmm, that's interesting, besides differences in aesthetics, are there physical differences?
None that I can tell.. This link explains the reason for the different polymer: http://www.aerobie.com/Products/Details/AeroPressMaterialsDescription.htm It looks like they have switched to BPA free materials in August. Now the question is, which of mine is the polycarbonate version and which is the copolyester. Did I get the one at school before August? (edit: nope, after a search here, I picked it up on August 15th.. it could be the new version but more likely the old version) I am not actually worried about BPA. However, I think I will take the BPA free version to work where it is used more often.
Oh.... a bit of "fun" on the return trip yesterday... We were in Kankakee and I stopped to get gas... bank card denied... What? I went to a bank and tried to get some case out... still most of my paycheck in the account but when I tried to take money out... denied. Huh? Argh! Call the bank, they tell me that my account has a security hold on it and to call Tansaction Security. Fine, I call them... my account has been flagged for suspicious activity. We go through my last several transactions and confirm that they were made by me and told that the purchases together sent off an automatic security flag and my account would be under further scrutiny. OK.. here are the purchases... $30 dollars at a grocery store followed by hotel room cost, $40 for lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings and then $30 in gas. What in the world about that combo is a problem? How many people will be on the road the next two weeks, stop to get things they need to bring to family dinners, get a hotel room, and then go out to eat with the family and get gas before going home later in the weekend? Gee, I am so glad that my account is now frozen... it is good to know that the banks are looking out for me. :angry032
Today. I can't remember if it was you or Doug who's booked up all this week. Obviously, I am quite capable of going to HF by myself, but I thought one of y'all might enjoy going along just to ogle all the goodies.
that would be a blast, but this week is overflowing for me unfortunately. actually, I will be in TXK this afternoon, but I'm taking the kids to their dentist appointment, I can't remember the time though, I may be able to meet you over there though
ahhh bank issue solved.. Silly me, I bought Day-Quil in Illinois... Indiana wasn't happy. I should have known better.
