  3. I had my brother up for the occasion. He raved about the result. Unfortunately, he uses a Masterbuilt too and said the same thing.

Worth a try on gas. My only fuel is charcoal, mostly lump.

  7. Great Sunday morning all.

Just have time for another post.
Didn't have time to read all the others.
    Sorry!
So I used another ugly mug to make my lather again, I'm a face latherer for the most part. I got this for 2 bucks and another kinda like it too. Worked great for a lather maker.
    Always enjoy a Schick injector E (I think) with a B-20 blade.

    It's a smooth sailing razor.
With a B-20 blade, it will do a good job.

    Razor: Royal Shave Dovo
    Brush: MrEE #11 w/ 26mm hybrid knot
    Preshave: Proraso Green

Its been a couple weeks since I shaved with a straight. This was a relaxing 3 pass shave to a DFS finish.

The shop is still hot but I've been enduring because I love making stuff. I included my first resin brush in this photo. I don't need anymore brushes, but I enjoy making them. So, I may need a creative way to offload a few.

  15. Gentlemen, thank you all. You have been an incredible blessing to us during our journey. I can't tell you how much Kathy and I appreciate friends like you. We've had so much love, prayers, encouragement, blessings, and care poured out on us over the past few months. I'm confident that we don't know the full extent of it, and we'll never be able to say thanks sufficiently. We are humbled, and we feel very blessed.

We made it home safely last night. We took a scenic and stress-free (12-hour) route through Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, and Indiana with a few rest stops. That is some beautiful countryside. It took an extra hour plus, but it was worth it to stay out of heavy traffic. We got a late start yesterday morning after packing up the last-minute items and saying goodbye to some dear friends. We already have plans to visit some friends in Minnesota. :) We were home and settled by midnight. We're starting to unpack (a process that usually takes us a couple of days), but I'm already itching to meet up with some of our friends here.

I'm feeling pretty lazy right now, so tomorrow looks like a two-passer on three days of growth. I don't like all the stubble, but those kinds of shaves are usually very satisfying.

It's really good to be home. :)
