Super shave this morning which followed an early morning workout. Honestly, I am going to miss these early workouts come next week as I shall return to work at school. The workouts will take place in the late afternoon or early evening.
I had a wonderful three pass shave with the Rod George custom razor. It delivered a smooth comfortable shave. I manage one weeper, as reported on the lather of the razor, however, I could not detect it’s origin.

The PAA Malbolge has the following scent profile: Tobacco, Citrus, Anise, Musk, Patchouli, Burnt Sugar, Black Pepper & Benzoin Resin. This soap and splash scent has a very nice period of longevity. I will easily get reminders of the scent throughout the day well into the late afternoon.

good morning gents.went with the german shave today.tabac tuesday..1953 german aluminum tech/wilkinson blade.this tech is aluminum and has a unique cap /baseplate assembly that won't work with other parts.only in production for a couple of years? uses a steeper angle of the cap also.fine shaver.tabac speaks for itself.lovely lather built by the wilkie boar.this one is recent with it's new logo.i always have a couple of these brushes around and have for 14 or so years.i beat the crap out of them.but they work..was also my first boar i bought with williams in 06.smooth near bbs today was the result as i would need to use a couple of shaves to dial this tech in.tabac as and a shot of cologne to finish.used the matching pit stick and shower soap as well for the full on senior experience....awesome..Ich wunsche ihnen einen wunderbaren Tag...

When you return, is your school going back face-to-face, virtual or hybrid? Here, the teachers are inside the school buildings but kids are virtual at home. It's been a mess so far and we're only in the 2nd week.

 

Nice shave this morning. I had the same arsenal as yesterday, with the exception of a Stoylin brush(the 26" "Pro-Handle"). It's fascinating how hot water to help prepare the face and neck for the shave doesn't interfere with the cold blast of Glacial soap. 0:30 to load the Stoylin, followed by good sweeping motions onto the face and neck. 2 fine passes, although once again I felt like one pass could be enough. That Glacial "kick" is quite something to enjoy in these hot months. Somehow, 3 small Knicks appeared, along Cactus Nation(2)and Porcupine Alley(1). None caused a problem. A good dousing of Skin-Bracer and I am ready to go. Very Excellent.

Good shave, Joe. I always wondered about that Malbolge.

 

Great shave, but I really love that beautiful backdrop! My mother’s family is from Montecatini Terme. You have a beautiful somewhat blurry shot of that beautiful Italian coastline. I can’t wait until I can return to Italy to visit family and friends once this Covid nonsense here in the states is under control and the EU clears Americans for travel.
