    merry christ-mass folks.

My parents are cleaning out their house. For Christmas they gave me some shave equipment that I don't really want (with the understanding that I might not want it and could give it away). This includes:

    1 techmatic.
1 gillette sensor razor, still in package.
1 atra handle. I think it's an atra. It's an aftermarket metal handle, inscribed with my brother's name. I'm not gonna use it.

If any of you folks on hyd want any of these items pm me and we can arrange something.

    Nice! Congrats.

I got a pepper griller stand, coupla movies, shoes, misc. clothes (and pants, darn it, now I've got no excuses :D)

The kids are loving their Zunes, btw! The HD came out at the perfect time for all the other models to be going on clearance right and left

I got a '68 Slim adjustable and some soap; I know the razor, but I don't know the soap. My first DE razor! Its not here yet, but I'm anxious to try it out. Also got some personnas and some Rite Aid brand blades.

Just finished editing and refining my notes for words for the wedding tomorrow...did I mention I'll be conducting my sister's wedding tomorrow?
Don't think I did, too much been going on.
Should be a simple, non-pressure thing (though I'm sure to add too much pressure to myself).
Is both of their second, the were very close friends since elementary, but never dated, both their marriages ended about the same time, and, well....
While I don't believe divorce is the right thing, sometimes it's the best thing, and was in both these situations. Hate to see it happen, but both of them were being treated like trash, and now fully see the hope that a right relationship can bring.
If it weren't for their previous decades of friendship, I'd be concerned about this pairing, but that fact makes it a little less worrisome, but we'll see.
This is only my second wedding to do, and this time my pastor's out of town.....
But, it's family, I may be expected to cut up a little....:D
Boy, I'm tired and rambling and rambling...but at least it's one more thing off my mind for the eve.
    G'nite!

actually, I'm one of the worst about intending to say her name, but saying my daughter's instead, or vice versa, because they sound so similar - I'm a bit anxious about making that mistake :happy097

Any of you fellas interested in acquiring a tub or two of "Thing"?

$15 shipped per tub, that is about the best price I can offer.

    Happy Boxing Day, All!

Christmas was quiet and fun here, just the three of us hanging out together, opening presents, having breakfast for dinner (French Toast, Bacon, Sausage, and Scrambled Eggs), and watching movies all night. It was a great day.

Today is quiet, and it's gloriously sunny (but cold) outside. Gonna grab a mid-afternoon shave here in a moment. Think I'll lather up with the new Omega brush I won in the 12 Days drawing:

This is pre-bloom and pre-use. The nice little stand came with it. Sorry for the cell phone quality picture. That's my graddad's '48/'49 SS below and my TGN reknotted Ever-Ready to the right.

A belated Merry Christmas! I really thought I posted that before the great ummmm ok... typical internet outage. At in-laws at the moment, internet works here but the computer hasn't been available until now. Gonna head back home later today and hopefully internet service are up and running again.

Daughter got Lego Rock band and guaitar hero world tour, and some DS games. I was interested in Scribblenauts due to the XKCD comic a few months ago. Been kind of fun...

We were the opposite, a helping of snow with a bit of ice on top. Things were mostly melted by the time we left Friday morning. According to weather sites, the home county is high and dry now.

Thats a great deal... I don't think I have used hardly any of the tub I already have though...

    Hope all went well!

My, but it's quiet in here... even for a Sunday.

I'm not a huge NFL fan, but aftter today's game, I'm forced to say:

    :angry021Coach Caldwell Sucks!:angry021

I've never heard Payton sound as down as he did in the post game interview.
