You're right, Joe. Looking back, I completed 42 shavette shaves, with 58 more to go. I'll try to work in some shavette shaves over the next few months until I finish this focus. I may alternate them with an SE or DE.

I wear thin Titanium frames. You almost can't see them, and they are very lightweight. I couldn't handle horn rims all day due to the weight and width.

Thanks Joe. I hope you are doing well, my friend. What's the classroom situation in NYC? Will you be doing any substitute teaching this year?

It's all good! Your shavette partner
Tim hasn't been heard since the middle of July. I pray that he is ok. Haven't heard from Danny since April.

Great setup Joe! Fun combo. Loves me some Malbolge too, the longevity is very nice, and the aroma is a winner here.

Cool Tabac Tuesday shave Gary! Guten Abend...

    Fun image Pierpaolo!

Always the forgetful one I am....these are reusable carts right Paul? Maybe the Knicks are from blade wear?

I don't work in NYC, but Mayor Deblasio will be opening schools Sept 10th. I live 55 miles east of NYC and I live less than 10 min from the schools that I am employed. I am signed up for the school year, but the district doesn't tell subs anything except to call us in to work. However, my gym opened for the first time in over five months, yesterday. Today, I met with one of the students at the gym that the schools will not be open on Wednesday and that half the students are to attend school M/T and the rest on R/F. So, there will be a hybrid situation of virtual and live classroom mode. I would think that I will not be working as much because 1 day is already off the calendar. Hopefully, this will be temporary and it will be back to a 5 day schedule.

Great thoughts David. Sounds like that RR BBS SS is a match to your muscle memory for angle and pressure (new blade also)!

Irritation for me....I'm beginning to believe is 90+% or more a variable of a soap/lather slickness. Sometimes a razor (and a brand new blade, or fresh off stropping when it's an open edge) doesn't cause any irritation, other days....yikes. I'd like to experiment, but irritation sucks.

Great shave and happy homecoming Charlie! I know y'all have been waiting & working towards that relief. Pray all the doc visits were quite ordinary and unremarkable.

I just bought new glasses, hence the avatar. Now that I have Medicare Advantage and LensCrafters had 50% discount on lenses, I saved 400 dollars on the glasses and I only paid 39 dollars for the eye exam. My eyes passed the exam and I see much better with these glasses.

Lovely Tabac Tuesday Andrew! Great thoughts on your process...I think a couple mentioned the Schick B-20 blades, I'm a fan too.
