  1. It was a “5” on it my apologies for foggy memory. Yep those were the ones. Just make sure they have Swedish production stamped on them and you’re good to go.

Super fun shave Tuesday. Heavy on the scent with vintage Avon Island Lime a/s. Seemed great after the Arko. DIY body scent/cologne, bay scented, rounded things out. Ted Pella Gems never let me down, no matter what razor I use them in...matched well with the agile Gem Featherweight.

Tried to lather using a mug today. I used a sample
Rose shave cream. The lather was ok but did not feel
like face lathering. Proably I must work on my mug
lathering skills. However, the save was very good!
    Zero irritation!

  12. You have me pegged Sergio. The peaches are in season and they are so sweet and juicy. I probably eat 2 a day the past month. Fruit is my weakness my friend.

I shaved twice with this set up since Monday, but have not had time to post (a 30hr work day got in the way, but that is another story). The PAA Immortal Peach Cube adds a great mentholated chill to the wonderful A&E Peach and Cognac soap - all performing top notch with and outstanding post feel. I broke out the NOS Schick Grip two days ago finally for its maiden voyage, and I must say I really dig the feel of the handle. I just love the smoothness of the Schick injectors and this was just a great addition the the den. It took me months to get around to using it with my straight razor shaves getting in the way, but being unused for probably around 47 years, what is a few months. It was worth the wait.

***EDIT - 1 pass + extensive cleanup. I set this razor loose 1/4 turn to make it more aggressive (that's how it is adjusted apparently) and I definitely got a more efficient shave that came out BBS and so far no irritation has come up. No nicks or weepers. Pretty much a great shave. I've been getting great shave lately. Getting lucky with the shaves. Have a great day all.
