  8. thank you Jim..the software is modern.;)
  9. Someone got their wires short-circuited. You made a non-sequiter comment on my comment of Paul's shave. You probably need some more coffee Jeff. Lol!

  10. Thanks, Joe, but it has a very slight neutral scent, if any! Great skin hydration benefits though! I don’t really go fo anything other than lime and very muted sandalwood. Don’t use scents anymore, SWMBO is allergic.

  11. Not really, Joe! Charlie had commented through a third party re: yours truly. I was merely returning the favor.

  12. I would love a NY 30DC chapter. There was a guy that was from NYC that stopped in this forum and he seemed cool, but he stopped commenting. I don't recall his handle/name.

  16. thank you Joe,the erasmic soap is a newish puck but has been made in england since the 1800s,the bakelite soap container is 40s/50s rexall drugs.the aftershave is clubman booze series whiskey woods in a 50s woodbury bottle.the razor is a 1946 #26 brit 4 piece fb tech with it's bakelite blade bank/holder and the brush is a 40s/50s canadian rubberset.i love bakelite stuff..thats as close as i can match a 50s shave at present..

  17. Another way corporations to keep the same formulation (equaling happy customers) but add to a bottom line, is keep container size the same, but the contents less (usually by weight) for the same price. Look at many manufacturer's 10 years or older of cereal/soup/beverage/potato chip/'name whatever product is in a container that the customer can't see'.......and there you have it. :angry019:

  18. Thanks, Jason! I'm running about a 30% success rate with resin so far. I just share the successes.

  19. I want to try an experiment. Will someone please send me a high contrast photo of a brush handle. Something like this works best, with the bottom flat, taken from a distance and zoomed in to minimize distortion. I also need a measurement across the bottom. I want to try to reproduce a few brushes. If I pick your picture to reproduce, I'll make one out of aluminum and send it to you.

:) I'd start a separate thread for this, but this offer is really only good for 30DC regulars.

  20. Just drop it, Joe. It'll be 12 hours before @jgreenepa can slather more MWF on his thin skin. :D

Boy oh boy, Joe. You really know how to stir things up. Not much has changed in the past three months. :scared011:
