  8. i would try out the gillette mach 3 razor and blades Paul.with the 3 blades they always seem to land flat on the face compared to 2 blade system.i never got cuts from them for that reason.you shave daily so they shouldn't plug up if you repeatedly rinse it.pressure didn't effect them much either.you got more irritation if you pressed too hard..worth a try..

  9. shall i get some for you? its on our minds daily..;)
  10. Thank you, Evan, and yes, this brush is one of mine. Basically every brush handle I have is turned by me, save the fantastic aluminum handle from you, a JR brush I won in the raffle and today's Simpson I bought a couple of years ago.
  11. awesome cooper shave and pic Jason..:eatdrink047::bounce017::bounce017::greet002::greet002::eatdrink023::eatdrink020::sexe::bounce017::bounce017::eatdrink047:

  12. You inspired me today on the Felce Aromatica combo, Pierpaolo. Of course, I don't need much of a push off that diving board.:eatdrink047:

  13. Love the black backdrop in that first photo, Joseph. Very cool indeed. If Succes is a Aventus clone, I can definitely relate in terms of doing Pineapple well. The Fine Platinum would be very similar as well, I assume.

  14. i use my phone to take pics and email it to my computer.it automatically sizes it to fit.i then send it here.then i have the originals i can doctor/play with.i never lose the originals unless i delete them..they can't be claimed as others property either.:)

    Boar Month - Shave #27

    Rating: 5 / 5

    Razor: Thiers-Issard Super Gnome Extra
Brush: Jayaruh 337 with Omega #49 Boar
    Lather: Stirling Bergamot Lavender
Aftershave: Chatillon Lux Pure Lavender Toner
    Additional Care:
    Barbero Alum Block
Thayer's Witch Hazel - Aloe Vera

Another early rise today around 5:30. I guess I am preparing myself for next week when I shall rise around 4:30-4:45.

I decided to bust out the Stirling Bergamot Lavender after a long hiatus. Don’t ask my why except that I have a lot of soap I like.

The Jayaruh 337 whipped up a beautiful lather which easily was enough for four passes. As you know by now, the three pass is the charm for me. I used the extra lather, which is part of my shave routine, as part of my final steps to hydrate the skin. A quick lather, let it rest on the face as I clean up some of the hardware, then pat off with a towel. An initial hot rinse removes any residual soap followed by an iced water splash from the water in the brush scuttle.

Super smooth shave as my first ever straight, obtained in 2002, continues to impress. Overall great shave with an almost silent alum.

    Enjoy the day gentlemen.
  17. Excellent shave, Gary.
  18. Glad to see that you are enjoying your Tradere. Excellent Bay Rum shave Clint.
  19. thanks Gary!
