I just wonder which MITA comes to mind. I prefer "More Intense Than Acid" but that's just me.

TGIF!!! Wow, what a week. I decided to pair the Jade CH2 synthetic with the SV Felce Aromatica for Fougere Friday. The soap destroyer whipped up a mountain of the rich slick decadent lather. The scent is simply intoxicating. Three passes and minimal touch ups ended in a near BBS. I skipped buffing my neck this morning. Happy Friday everyone. I hope you all have a great day.

Thanks, Joe, but an update. Ben came over to help me with some plastering, and showed me a hold he calls a reverse scissors. It solved my problem! VBBS above and below the neckline this morning! Thanks for sharing the video!

It proves there's more than one way to skin a cat. That's great that you found you way to get a smooth neck.

    Razor: Karve Aluminum C
    Blade: Gillette Super Thin (1)
    Brush: Alpha EverGoose
    Pre-shave: PAA Rabid Banana
    Soap: B&M Foúgere Gothique
    PAA Galactic Witch Hazel
    PAA Star Jelly
    AS: B&M Foúgere Gothique

    Good morning!

Fabulous Foúgere Friday shave! Three passes for near BBS. Light tickle from the alum.

First use of the Alpha EverGoose synthetic. Stiff! Fans of the CH2 synthetic would enjoy the knot in this brush. I'll use it through the weekend to get to know it better.

    Have a great day!

    Good morning gents!

It's a Freezing Fatboy Friday Shave!

    1961 - G1 Gillette Fatboy (9)
Polsilver Super Iridium DE Blade (?)
    Rockwell Synthetic Brush
Chiseled Face Cryogen SS and AS

I needed to wake up and this shave delivered.
I haven't used this Fatboy that I won in a TSD for some time so it needed to come out to play. Did my usual routine by wetting my face and dry load the brush by lightly tapping five times. Applied the dry load to my face and then wet the tips and the lather was showing up. I repeated wetting the tips and hit the lather to get the consistency needed for me. The lather was not voluminous, but that's the way I like it when I have only a day's growth. Did 2 passes and got an IBSS + shave. The blade was ok, but it was not sharp enough to really get a BBS so I just called it quits after 2 passes. It wasn't until the end of the shave when I cleaned the razor that I had a Polsilver blade. I binned it and will put a Rockwell DE blade in this razor for the next time. Finished with the matching aftershave to end a nice, cool shave. Have a fantastic Friday fellas! 20200828_080857.jpg
