Yeah, college ball is either so incredibly good or so incredibly bad. Bad calls (and non-calls) are always a huge dissapointment. Even worse are stupid decisions by coaches (yes, I'm still hacked off about the whole coach Caldwell thing - he's a moron).
yup... Lots of close games today but lots of penalties (good and bad) and non-calls... Can we just get rid of kickers and special teams entirely? No more punts on 4th down, either you make your 1st down or you turn it over on downs at the spot. No field goals, no PAT, and No kickoffs... After a touchdown, spot the ball on the 20, 30, 40, or whatever. Maybe we should get rid of time-outs while we are at it... Make a safety worth as much as a touchdown and lets let the teams play some real... umm football? American Rugby?
yup... unfortunately wife is from Cincinnati... first it was yelling at Ohio State... now it is yelling and griping about this game.. I have been putting down Christmas stuff and avoiding the room for the most part.
is that yelling at Ohio State as in against, or as in frustrated when they weren't playing good? if against, I'm with her on that one that sucked. I'm not a fan of either Ohio St or Oregon, but there's a local boy that plays for them, and I can't stand all the Ohio St arrogance...whether it's real or percieved
Well she was yelling every time they made mistakes, errors, penalties, etc... we both watch sports, but daughter and dog have both learned that during ball games it is much safer to sit on the chair with me then on the couch with mommy... Back to UC.. They wouldn't have been prepared for this game and were out classed anyway; however, having lost their coach to ND and then the new interim coach is leaving with coaching only this game... I am sure they started off a bit deflated.
yeah, that didn't bode well for their game, I've been saying that to everyone 'round here - you can't go into the game versus Florida, arguably the 2nd best team in the nation, and a game that's going to be tough enough in that fact alone, and then suffer the coaching issues.
yup.... So I want to place a few orders... but I don't feel comfortable having blades, etc... sent to my work and with the package theft issues.... Anybody here ever use a PO box and have home mail delivery? I can't decide if it is something worth getting... yeah, it would be nice to have packages delivered there, but then I have to stand in line every time something comes in.... Would it really be worth it 96% of the time?
