  1. so, you're saying that since I bought it so recently, I could potentially get that $50 back?
    I'm listening....

the fellowship and camaraderie was the best part, though. I'm still yet to get the "picture" off the phone, but when I do it'll be posted in short order.
  2. I completely forgot about that part! I'm glad I didn't mention it now... That will make the "picture" more meaningful when you post it. :happy102
  3. Yup - stories like this are only complete with photographic evidence of the booty, um, spoils!
  4. It's true!

    We found him!

  5. You know... that should probably be posted ATS without any explanation in the "Waldo" thread... just the picture. If any of the old timers are still there, they'd probably get tickled at the reference.
  6. That bow looks great Doug.

Sorry I haven't been around as much lately. Totally overwhelmed. Hope everyone is doing well!

    Happy New Year!
  7. Yay! may paycheck from last week just now got deposited. Isn't it funny that although the bank can't make deposits over the holiday weekend, it had no problem sending out auto-payments (that kind of needed that deposit).

Oh well... off to go home for a bit to take the dog out and grab the coffee I forgot at home.

looks like the spoilinators also found Santa's summer hideout...
  8. I think it's a celebrity retreat. <shhh.....>

    My razor broke today. :(
  9. :( what happened to your razor?
  10. It's a long handled Super Adjustable. I went to take out the blade, and the upper section of the black sleeve/barrel was turning. I thought, "Huh. better see what's going on." Got outta the shower, put on glasses. The gap above the adjuster is growing wider. So, seems the head and handle are separating. It was clicking through the adjustments just fine, but now isn't.
  11. ugh... sorry to hear that. I have a pair of those that do that as well, as the handle turns, the gap adjusts and the settings are then off calibration. I haven't gotten around to figuring out what it would take to press fit those back together that won't damage the rest of the razor and allow the adjustments to be properly calibrated.
  12. I'd say time to experiment, but.......not on my razor. It's my only razor. Think I have another one downstairs that I didn't manage to list in the store with the recent bunch of razors, but it's silver/chrome/whatever. Mine is gold. I don't even like yellow gold generally, but for some reason I like it on my razor.
  13. I've taken a super apart before, and back together, successfully....but not a gold one, though that should affect the take-down procedure
  14. I've take supers apart as well, but I have two that the handle will not press tightly enough to stop turning on its own. dunno why... never bothered to try to figure it out... Guess with the Queenly impetus, I may need to go back and take a look at them.
  15. Well, if someone would be willing to try fixing mine, I'd appreciate it greatly.

As long as I don't have to watch..........
  16. Don't you have anymore straights as backup at least?
  17. if Justin don't want first attempt, I'll give it a go
  18. Rolled the edge on my ERN the last time I decided to use it. Suppose to be sending it to PalmettoB to fix, but I haven't yet.

    Miss my Red Imp. :sad024
  19. Thanks! I figure if it's dead, it's dead. Can't harm it much more by trying to fix it, right?
  20. yeah, that's what I figured with the super adj. I took apart...doesn't work without taking it apart, can't work any less afterwards :D
