Bill, that is a super cool bike. That was every kid's dream in my neck 'o the woods.

    Could use some flames, though.

    Thanks, Bill.
I bought the bullseyes and fluted trim from Home Depot. They're pine so I had to get some stain mixed so it would look like the oak I had already stained. The dental molding across the top is 43 individual pieces of wood.

The gubbament decided that the 5 speed shifter was a hazard to your manhood.

Honestly it was a huge lead sled. Way too heavy and mushy.

    They were lookers though.

Over the years there were a couple of re-releases made still under the Schwinn name. They were single speed coaster brake or internal hub 5-speed with a handlebar twist shift.

Wish I'd kept mine, think I sold it for $40.

I've seen them sell in good used condition for $2k.

I was the first in the neighborhood to buy a 10 speed. I had a great paper route.

Still have a Schwinn 10 speed Continental in the garage. I should unload it.

Since joining this thread in June, I have been pretty good about checking once or twice per day to keep up. After missing about 4 days though, I started today 807 posts behind...

I love the Tsuka, but I only use it sparingly. Anyway, you had a good shave Bill!
Great shave and enjoy your new TV Jim!

    Thanks Jeff!
I can shave the dome with straight but it really takes to much time.
I find an efficient safety razor with a sharp blade fits the bill.
I have 9 MMOC's, so, in case, I might loose, or break one.
    Always have a spare!

    I luv me Micromatic....

    Excellent shave, Bill!
Regarding the razor, I used a similar razor on Friday, the Muhle R89, which I hadn't touched in about 8 months or so I believe. It does give a mild shave, but since I have been paying closer attention to almost every aspect of the shave lately, I surprisingly got a nice BBS from it.
