@jtspartan here are some of the photos from our friends in Whaletown that they shared with us this summer. I'm thinkin' we need to go for a visit.

Our friends have a craft shop (apparently there is a craftmakers' consortium on the island), and the wife is a gourmet cook. We traded photos of some the meals we cooked this summer. Hers were beautiful, and well, uh, mine were oatmeal. :)

Outstanding shave, Jason! I just added some Reserve Cool aftershave to my collection this month and it really is a great splash.

Lovely photo, PierPaolo! Have you used putty on the back of the brush to achieve the balance? Just curious! Enjoy your day!

Jim, you're making me feel guilty, I actually staged the picture on my deck before the shave, which took place inside.

Thanks, Jeff! Fortunately, the irritation is not bad and will be gone by tomorrow hopefully.

Thanks Andrew. These are some really special friends we met a couple of years ago on a tour in Italy. The built their own home using timber they milled from their land, and they've been inviting us up for a visit. We're also talking about going with them on another trip to Italy. Can't wait for it to be safe to travel.

On nights when Kathy was in the hospital and I was eating dinner by myself at the transplant house, I would send them my dinner photos. A response to one of them was simply, "Oh, Dear."

Not much to say except I lost >2 lbs this summer and came home below 200 lbs...first time in maybe 25 years I've been at this weight. :)

I call this photo my Gourmet Vittles (Meal for you high-falutin' types) of the Day.

Note to self: it is not a good idea to burn toast in a kitchen used by 20 other people. I actually had numerous kind offers from folks I met there offering me some of the food they had prepared after they saw some of my culinary creations. :D

Thanks Jeff. They are sweet people and good friends. I believe the wife's uncle was a missionary, and that's their connection to Whaletown.
