    Thanks, Clint!
I believe Shane received complaints of the Sabre being too mild when it was first released and that's why there's an L2. Personally I think he took it a bit too far. I'd like to see an L1.5.

It appears my two orders-both made the same day, actually the same MINUTE, will arrive a week apart from each other. ManHands Soaps should be here this week-end while Dr(Doc)Squatch the 12th. I know we have delivery troubles these days and all, but.....that might just make me stay with ManHands for future orders.

Yesterday ended up a no shave day. Spent most of the day at the track.....maintenance on the work trailer (replacing/repacking wheel bearings, trailer brakes, etc.). Got it all done before the rain in the late afternoon, it's ready to roll for another few years.

Great start this morning....Monday saw the demise of a MWF bath soap bar (lasted 3 months!), so it was replaced by a trial sized bar of Stirling's Executive Man, courtesy of @myles wilson. Great aroma (Creed Aventus dupe supposedly). First use of a NOS Seiko Kamisori....and with an abundance of caution, went for a slick pre-shave layer before applying the Noble Otter lather. Wonderful barbershop fragrance, light sandalwood note to it, but with depth from oak moss and bergamot. The Zenith boar whipped up a slick lather, plenty of residual face feel with NO's shave soap for confident buffing with the Seiko. This kamisori is a traditional unequal grind. Crazy sharp after a strop session. Beautiful craftsmanship on this NOS example, no hone marks, blade or scale blemishes to be found, only a very light oxidation at the blade pivot, remedied with some polishing paste & polishing cloth. 3 full passes, BBS -, just barely missed the baby, rough spot remains on the right jaw hinge. No shenanigans at all. Super fun razor to wield for a shave, has some heft in the tang, balances out the traditional grind with the smaller shave edge. Quick couple squirts of ZM after shave balm followed with the Noble Otter matching after shave....can't believe it's Wednesday.

Hope everyone has a fantastic Hump Day!

Two days in and I am sticking with not only the theme, but the focus, as well.
Rather than refresh the Sheffield Steel on any stones, I refreshed my linen strop with a new layer of CrOx paste.
Gave the blade about ten laps on that, followed by 40 on my SRP 3" and 20 on my Savin 2" strops.
    Arm hair easily tree-topped.
Took a few pictures of the Williams lather, but they fell far short of Primo's standards to publish.

Suffice it to say, that this soap stands proudly amongst the finest in the field.
Wait...wasn't that Spaulding's catch phrase? Rawlings?

The Duke, with Royal aplomb, delivered some gorgeous goop and was it ever shiny and slick!
You'll just have to take Primo's word on that.

    The W&B is so easy to wield. Never and issue under the nose; sides of mouth;
and when you add the 180˚ heel-down maneuver, right side of face.
This is a move worth attempting, if you haven't already.
DFS+++ results. Yes, the neck would fail the cotton ball test.
    Oh well.
Glorious sprays from the Floïd Blue left me feeling like I just walked out of the barber's chair.

Great shave, Jim! It's like riding a bike, you clearly know the razor, but sometimes it takes a bit to overcorrect those initial wobbles when you haven't ridden that particular bike in a while. Have a great day!
