LOVE the Scrabble board Charlie! That. Is. So. Freaking. Cool.!

I have been playing Scrabble for 46+ years off and on. My Nana started me in the early 70s. Her passion was Scrabble and Crossword puzzles. I've been playing Scrabble (WordFeud actually) daily since 2007 on either iOS or Android.

Always enjoy your outdoor images Doug! You're one the enablers for why I have a bunch of Floid samples....they didn't have that one. All are nice juice though!

    2020 Shavette Focus Shave # 43

    1747 EST

SEptember is off and running. I decided to continue my 100 shave shavette focus. I'll complete a few shaves with the Parker SRX and then try another SE or two this month. Two passes, WTG & ATG, with one rookie error on the WTG pass left a small red line on my jaw. I didn't push it, so the alum was mostly quiet. I gave myself two splashes of BoS and called it good.

Overall, it was a good shave, especially considering I hadn't used a shavette for a few months.

Hope you all had a great day!

Thanks Blair. That's a cool story! Now you've got me interested in bringing the game board out during our self-quarantine. Hope you are well, my friend.

Nice image Charlie! DE shavette thingy's are the most unforgiving.

Thank you, Blair! Shavettes truly are unforgiving, but I lost focus momentarily today (it would have been fine if I was using a DE) and paid the price.

    Ditto!

At the end, using the same pattern & passes, the result is the same for me.

Even with the best edges from some of the best in the world the Feather Professional Super outperformed on the first pass. I've read the theory that you are shaving with the coatings at the beginning. It degrades from there. 4-5 for me & they are done.

A straight, where you are only shaving on an edge that you are conditioning every time can be stable 30 times and up.
