Wholly Kaw SS & AS - Fougére Mania
    Shavemac Disco - 24mm 2 band badger
    J3Customs Kamisori
Zingari Man After Shave Balm (unscented)

Fougére Friday! The new Siero base shave soap from WK bowl lathered into a nice slick yogurty blend this morning. Awesome face feel while shaving, plenty of residual smooth hydrated glissade for buffing. This brush has me coming to a slow realization that I like smaller less densely knotted badgers....really nice flow through, easily can build the lather fuller on my face....very different than one of my lather hog 28mm SHD 2 band badger knots. Super fun 2.5 passes with the J3Customs kamisori this morning, no shenanigans. Complete opposite in size, weight and blade landing issues than what I used yesterday....this blade lands much sooner (behemoth width), so attention for that difference has to be noted. I use the grip I showed yesterday for the entire shave. BBS- results. Couple pumps out of the ZM after shave balm container followed with the matching WK after shave splash.....ready for a Friday!

Originally wasn't enamored with this aroma from Wholly Kaw, but it seems to have lost the slight 'old lady bottom of the purse' edge to it. Yeah....slightly Tabac'ish flower aroma when I first bought it a year ago. It's mellowed, or my snozzle did....it's now an earthy Fougére with undertones from his Fougére Bouquet, but has a top note more flowery honey suckle fragrance after dry down.

Hope everyone has a Fantastic Friday!

Thanks, Andrew! It was fun! Kyle’s a real nice guy, and every bit as enthusiastic about our hobby as we are!

That used to be the case with me, Joe. No longer! By the way, I think I’m finally beginning to enjoy my straight shaves. My shave with the rusty Tanifuji was awesome. There really seems to be something about Japanese razors! I’m hooked! Just bought two more!

I was completely smooth after a nice 3 passer early this morning. Chased it a bit on the jawline and caught it. Love the Baker St scent and this old soap still has life in it. A little more powder in the original and little more sharpness in the Stirling version, but both are very nice. I haven't pulled it out in awhile, probably because I've been using a Baker St Shampoo Bar for quite some time, but I was inspired by the Stirling focus and by a 30DCer grabbing theirs a few days ago.
One anomaly this morning- I forgot the witch hazel as I was cleaning up. I cannot honestly remember the last time I didn't splash some on before finishing with an AS a few minutes later. Grabbed the splash absentmindedly right after the rinse. Today won't be a 'happy accident' that becomes routine.
    Have a great day all!
