It's hard to pick a favorite, but this one is a likely contender.

Excellent shave lineup, Joe! Pool day sounds like a great plan.

Neither of my kids ever showed interest in Fortnight, but they sure made up for it with other games.
My daughter plays Roblox all the time and I can't seem to understand her enjoying the YouTube videos of other kids playing it.
Then I remember I watch shaving videos... :scared003:

Superb shave Blair. One beautiful razor! Is it a traditional kamosori grind or western?

I just made a soap trade for a tub of Strop Shoppe Unscented (Tallow). Never used the product before. Heard good things about the brand. Going to give it a try tomorrow.

We have been doing this routine monthly, except at the onset of COVID, for about 8 years. Significant price difference to your excursions though.

It reminds my a double SE.
Something similar to Schick with Twin Injector blade.
But milder, in the mood of the new Gillette SkinGuard.
IMHO, a great shaver with the right handle.
    I understand.
I had this feeling for years, a long time ago.

Now I can use every kind of shaver.
For me, the key is the angle.
Low angle of the edge on the skin, low pressure ... all I need for three pass shave.
Deepness is about passes, not aggressivity of the blade.

They've been out of business for quite some time, but if this tub is any indication, the soap should be fine still. This one came via @PLAla from a PIF raffle, but I did find another Strop Shoppe tub 'in the wild' at a discount store a few years ago. It was called 'Black Tie' and was a very nice scent indeed. It was their non-tallow base and was, quite frankly, an inferior product. I have many non-tallow soaps that are phenomenal, that old Strop Shoppe one was nowhere near that class. Ended up turfing it.

    Exceptional shave lineup, Jason!
When I rarely forget to use witch hazel after a shave, I just feel a bit off that day - it's just an ingrained part of the shave for me.

    Friday's Shave
    #SEptember

    GEM Micromatic Bullet Tip
    GEM S/S PTFE (4)
    Omega 11126 Boar
    Mitchell's Wool Fat Shaving Soap
    Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    Pitralon Classic Aftershave

Three passes today with the MMBT provided another comfortable and irritation free shave. It's been a while since I've used this razor, but for me, the muscle memory is almost the same for all GEM razors.
