    SEptember 4th

    Razor: OneBlade Genesis
    Blade: Feather FHS-10
Brush: MrEE #10 26mm Hybrid Knot
    SS: MWF
    AS: no time...

Love the OneBlade Genesis. I hadn't used the MWF in a while so it took some hydrating to get it to lather, but the hybrid know took care of it. Lots of wonderful lather on this FAT Friday. 2 quick passes to a DFS finish and off to work. That walk down the hall is a long one.

It's aluminum. SS would be a workout to shave with. Get a little aggressive and you'd knock your teeth out.

Strop Shopee tallow was a great product. I’m sad they went out of business.

Tabac or not Tabac, that is the question.

So after finally trying it, the answer is I think it's great. Smell is NOT offensive and mild and very good residual slickness, mabe the best of all my soaps, based on my single try on it.
Then again, I like Arko too. However I am hardly using it lately as I've got 4 RR variety soap sticks, MWF, Taconic stick, Tabac stick and Lucky Tiger, Edwin Jagger and something called Tame the Beast, LOL.

I am trying MWF as well, and so far am preferring Tabac. I have not tried softer water yet. Does that affect the shave or just the frothiness?
I tend to default to Lucky Tiger and MWF however over anything else though if not thinking of anything. Maybe they are just most in reach.

So. TABAC IS AWESOME, definitive answer.
Glad to have settled that debate. Those who disagree::duel:

Terrific shave, Charlie! No boo boos!
Very nice brush, Evan! Thanks again! I do have a tube of Flitz, I'll give polishing it a try.
    Thanks, Charlie!
I'm not sure what it's made of. It's heavier than I thought aluminum would be. That's a good question for Evan.
    Wonderful SEptember shave, Evan!

It's 6061 Aluminum. Stainless Steel would be a beast to handle. It's been a long time since I machined 316 stainless, but it was HEAVY and a pain.

Not even Shave Fu could keep these longcounts going for 3 days. Does this qualify me for a Shavey Award?:

TGIF, my friend. Fine L'Orange Noir is such a beautiful scent. That's it, I'm off to search out Terre d'Hermes. I need to give myself a belated birthday gift...
Sounds like a great brush, Jim. Looks like Evan has dealt with my only complain about the CH2- I wish the handle was taller. I have a 30mm SynBad that I love, and I assume that knot is similar.
The new brush sounds like a winner, Gary. Glad to see you are enjoying the Injector. I like every one I've tried, but did move my E2 on as I didn't see a lot of difference between it and the E3. Others have said that there are different levels of aggression on some E2s though.
A great view of your yard, Joe. I'm not familiar with that soap or scent, but it sounds nice. Have fun with your son. I have to limit mine's (14 years old) access to Fortnite to an hour here or there. He thinks I'm draconian...
Those are very cool milestones, Joe. It has made me aware that I haven't tracked any usage in this hobby. It has been informative following your journey.
Wonderful gear, wonderful photo. Very descriptive info on the scent as well. There is a Fougere from PAA available in Canada only that has Maple Syrup as a major accent. If that isn't stereotypical, I don't know what is.
My son watches those stupid Fortnite videos as well. I'd rather he played the game. I bug him that the videos are made by single 25 year olds living in their parent's basement. He tells me that is probably true, but at least they are rich after getting 25 million views... I then realize I am old.
What a classic combo, Andrew. You've described its scent before, but how is the Pitralon performance-wise?
A very nice photo, Charlie. We've missed the scrapbooking backgrounds...you're back home now!
I see that BoS splash is actually still available from Jeeves.
