Gentlemen, thanks for the kind words!

Thanks Jason. I'll see what I can do regarding some new backgrounds. :)

TDH is one of my favorites too. I have the parfum, as I think it wins out over the EDT.
Congrats for sticking with the shavette! Skill comes with time and practice, and it will improve your shaves will ALL types of razors. I've been using shavettes off and on since 2013, but I haven't kept track of my shaves like others here. I committed to this 100-shave focus alongside @timabababaluka, but I took a few months off for the summer.

I'm working on my anodizing setup. So that's already in the works. Right now I'm having issues with the dye, but I'll figure it out soon.

Adding a textured finish would be difficult with my current setup. However, I've been wanting to build a 4th axis for my CNC mill for a while. I already have the controller, stepper motor, spindle, and bearings, I just haven't put it all together yet. A 4th axis would open a lot of doors. I'm pretty sure you'll know when I get there. :)

Especially as you're learning, it's good to take time off between shavette shaves. It's also good to stop at two passes, IMO.

What's your biggest challenge with the SRX? Maybe we can help.

Shavettes require a delicate touch and it is hard to do so when you are use to other razors. Generally, guys are heavy-handed when using manual tools and so it is difficult for them to switch gears.

I can't wait to see what you come up with, Evan. It is downright amazing that you have your own CNC mill.

If I may be so bold, you may use my CT Danger for the name of your red anodized aluminum monster handle with the grippy yet stylish and smart pattern. I'm interested if you'd like to properly commemorate Danger #001. My attorneys will reach out shortly.

Glad you like the Tabac, David! Now, you got to get your shavette technique down pat.

Thank you Gary, Joe, Jeff & Clint!

And....Jeff.....thinking on it, today I did some of the south to north buffing on the right neck using a knife grip on the handle.

This brush got me a 106% in Enabling 301 AP. See below (the chart couldn't dive into the percentages):

Joseph, comments on smaller knots. Jason and Keith, Shavemac badger comments. Clint, cool disco handle images.

Thank you Jason! I keep track of my straight shave numbers to see how I have progressed and knowing what I have accomplished in my journey. It also provides a permanent record for me.

As far as soaps, I am inclined to NB21 also. However, I may decide to get another Max Sprecher next year. If I do, then it will be smaller than Mad Max.

It's a beauty, Gary. An Omega '98 knot will make it perfect. Congrats!
