dang, Saturday would have been better then again, I may have to go to TXK early that day anyway....hmm, stay tuned EDIT: wait, I'm just assuming lunch time...
well, I just noticed I have a voice mail, I've got to be at the bank here in Distraction* at 4:00, I may can work late tomorrow evening, take off about lunch and be back, I may need to run into Harbor Freight anyway...need anything, Micah? :rofl
a better shop. One with plenty of electric outlets, lighting, and heat would be nice. But as for anything at HF?... Hmmm... You know that tap kit they sell with the ginormous taps? I wonder if one of those matches the threads on the headstock of my lathe... Although, I found a beale tap for only $17 in one of my catalogues. So, no, I guess I don't need anything right now.
From the song: "Gottafindawoman, gottafindawoman, gottafindawoman, huuuunh!" Sounds alot like my college years.
My Day? Couldn't be worse. Had everything done to import a car from Germany to Holland (does involve quite some trouble with insurance, license plates, vin no's, paying taxes etc. etc.). The seller (who used to call and mail me) just mails and says he's gonna sell to someone who's coming today, where we would come tomorrow. Why is it, that some people seem to have no trouble at all doing these things?
That sucks. The way we've always handled such situations (on the selling end) has been to tell anyone who's interested, "The first person to show up at my doorstep with the money, gets the item." That way, it's clear, and everyone knows it's a race. But in your case, if they said they'd sell it to you, then you had a verbal contract, and you should get first crack at buying the car.
Buying a car should be easy, but it never seems to be. Donuts: Food of the Gods. Happy Thor's Day everyone!
