    Well, my package got lost in the mail that I ordered from West Coast Shaving, I should be getting a refund soon, I am a little hesitant to make a reorder from them (not that they are a bad vendor, I have heard nothing but good things about them) but the shipping provider they use (FedEx) I have used FedEx countless of times, and pretty much almost every time my packages either get delayed or lost completely. Anyone know any other good vendors out there? (that don't use fedex) I am looking for these two Items.

    It did, in the end. I may "try" another Mach, but if the same result happens, that'll be it. Oh well, at least they were on sale (3 for $7/99).

    I mainly use the ubiquitous blue and white paper masks that are disposable. I have lots of cloth masks but for a full day of teaching the paper masks have worked the best for me.

    Hello Paul. No fans are allowed at the track today due to the pandemic. Attendance is limited to owners, staff, media, etc.

    I noticed yesterday on TV that the infield during the Kentucky Oaks was being used for secure parking. Sadly, there are protests planned around Churchill Downs today. I pray that there is no violence.

    It's great to hear from you, Perry! I pray the school year has started well and will be safe for all involved.

    +1 on the paper masks. They are much more comfortable for all-day wear.

    Oh no....protests at such a great event? I bet they wouldn't be allowed were there no Covid. I turned on the TV just at the end of KY Oaks.....boy, that winning nag got a lot of presents :).

    It's a long story about the protests and the needless violence, Paul. It's a tragedy all the way around.

    I'm glad there is no public attendance at the Derby this year. IMHO, that would have created an unnecessary flare-up of COVID infections. I'm in the camp of people that believe we should avoid non-essential mass gatherings. With regard to the Derby, there's nothing keeping folks from enjoying the day at home and even in small groups that are taking precautions. The weather here is perfect today, so it would be ideal for an outdoor party.
