what an eventful evening...just bought a mini lathe!!!!

it's a Harbor Freight lathe, same model Micah just bought, but a couple years old, got a heck of a deal. can't wait to crank out some brushes, pens, bowls, whatever else I can think of.
closed on refinancing our house today, too, so going to be able to pay off some medical bills, and a couple of [slash]Satan[/slash] credit cards, and then who knows then

don't think I'll be able to sleep tonight, but I need to, gotta haul off the old defunct broken freezer, finish putting Christmas decorations up, and then....

I just printed off the manual for my lathe, and I must confess, having to upgrade my printer was very much worth it for the duplexing capability!

Hey there fellas. Seems like a mans work is never finished. Well, I received my order from JoAnna. This Wheat shave cream really is some top notch stuff. I ordered the "Cool Water" type cream and aftershave splash. It is a really nice interpretation of the original, and it goes great with T&H Freshman cologne. Been a good weekend for me!!

I really like the wheat creams too - Great stuff. In fact, I may just pull some out for this morning's shave (yes, I slept in until 10 ).
