    Awesome shave and congrats on your new razor, Jeff! Now you know why some straight shavers purchase Max's razors. His edges are definitely sharp and smooth; plus his craftsmanship is second to none.

    good morning gents..gray morning today so far so green works.fabulous 2+ pass bbs with the milady new rfb,basically a brit new rfb head that's gold plated.no other new rfb's were.Jason's custom omega built a lovely asian pear lather,matching aftershave to finish.these A&E products are awesome..one of my favorite artisans.top shelf imo..have a fine day everyone..

    Good morning guys!

    Straight Razor Shave #200
    Dovo Special 5/8 Full Hollow Round Point
    C-Mon Heritage Collection Super HD Badger Brush
    Fine Italian Citrus SS
    Stirling Piacenza AS

    Today is a great milestone in my shave journey! It is my 200th traditional straight razor shave and my 400th open blade shave. I am officially a 200 straight/200 shavette shaver. I picked the Dovo Special because it was my very first straight razor and so I thought it would be appropos to use it on this special shave.

    This shave went well. My C-Mon brush whipped a nice, creamy lather. The Fine soap is slick, but the scent is no where to be found. I am not the only shaver to have noticed this lack of fragrance from this brand. On a 48 hr stubble, I got a very near BBS with 2.5 passes and minor touchups. There was a weep on my neck, but no irritation was to be had. Doubled splashed my Piacenza aftershave to finish this shave. I enjoyed every minute of this super milestone shave.
