Thank you Drew! I remember the first time that I used my Dovo shavette and the Dovo straight razor. I was very cautious in the beginning and now after 400 straight shaves, it seems so effortless to do so. At the start of this journey, I made it a point that I was going to be all in with straight razor shaving and I am glad that I had that mindset. It truly has been an awesome ride.

I can identify ONE of my 3...(the Burma Shave, which has been in the longest). I bet that Fine Italian is good...what is the Mysterium one about?

Clint, were you the one who said you didn't like the Rocky Mtn. soap as much as you hoped to?

The Rocky Mtn Cream is a gift from my wife. It is not a shaving cream I would recommend buying. Since it was a gift I will use it until it is gone.

I'm gonna guess about 600 mi. ENE from 'Dangerville' Pennsyltucky, and 275 mi. WSW from where crazy old guys were once spotted showing off their shiney razors in a pizza shop.

Thanks for the input Clint. The Fine Soap was piffed to me by Danny @Hembree so I don't know how long he had it in the box. The performance of the soap is great, but I wish that the scent was more apparent to my sniffer.

It is not even close to A&E. I much prefer TOBS cream to this cream. The cream does have a little menthol which is nice. Don't get me wrong is is far from the worst thing I have used but it is not something I would buy again. Luckily my wife seems to have settled on Wet Shaving Products Formula T for my shaving gifts which I love using.

Wonderful Gem shave! Glad it went well! My SWMBO is of the same mindset. This year when I close it I’m adding enough algicide to ensure I’m not confronted with the floating garden I faced this year. Enjoy your day, Joe!

The only razor that I would really want is a Filarmonica 14 Inox straight razor. I could see myself getting another Max Sprecher next year. If I do get one, then it would be smaller than my Mad Max and probably have green or red acrylic scales. It also woul mean that I would have to get a matching brush to complement it. Whoever said that you would save money by using a straight razor was not forthcoming with the truth.
