    2020-09-07, Monday


    The weather forecast was right: rain! In fact when I went out, I found 23 drops on the car.
    But it was cool.

    It is becoming a serious problem to choose soap: if I get up before dawn the autumn and winter fragrances would be perfect. But it's enough to do it a little later to orient myself on summer scents.
    One more reason to hate this season!

    I read that this soap contains menthol and eucalyptus: I don't smell them, otherwise I wouldn't use it.
    The four samples I took seem all almost identical to me.
    But the performance is very good.

    Lavender has nothing to do with it, but after rinsing my face there are no hints of Nordic fragrances left.

    Too bad that I forget too often about this trumpeter!

    This is Day 7 of SEptember. On deck is the Gem 1924 Shovelhead.

    The Virgilio Valobra Shaving Soap face-lathered well with Jayaruh #340 Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Ever-Ready 1924 razor with a Personna GEM SS PTFE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
