    Good morning guys!

    Shavette Shave #201
    Dovo Shavette
    Personna Hairshaper Blade (5)
    JR #290 Synthetic Brush
    Stirling Piacenza SS and AS

    I decided to be lazy and do a shavette shave. The JR brush really does a great job lathering my face and it is my best synthetic out of my 4. The bristles are smooth and really feels great on my face. I am using the Piacenza more than usual because I am trying to deep six it. There's nothing wrong with this soap, but when I am near the end, then I want to finish it. Did a nice 2.5 pass to get a BBS- shave with a little crier on my chin. Finished with the matching aftershave. I am ready to go to the gym. Have a great day guys! 20200907_101202.jpg

    It’s a truly great safety razor, Bill! I love mine with the three dot plate and a twinjector or Proline loaded. Fabulous dome shaver! Enjoy your day, my friend!

    Bill, Ben has over 100 straight razors, about 40 of which are mounted in frames in his Den/Man Cave/Bar ( i.e. his finished basement). He has a great collection of Single Malts and Bourbons as well! I raised this one right!! I’ve been helping him, or rather directing him as he works on his Triumph GT. We enjoy each other’s company!

    Good morning!

    Fantastic shave to start the day! Three passes for near BBS. Just the lightest tickle from the alum.

    Today's weather forecast, 94° for the high. So of course I'm going to disconnect hoses, get the snow shovel out of the shed, put the scraper in the truck and blow out the sprinklers. The forecasted low of 34° tonight. Tomorrow's forecast, snow with a high of 37° and a low of 28°. Crazy. We're just coming off one of the hottest Labor day weekends I can remember. Upper nineties and triple digits the last few days. Colorado, gotta love it!

    I really enjoy using mine, Blair. Once we get through this plague, I’m planning on taking it with me to our place on Tybee Island. Believe it or not it’s rented right through the season. My cleaning company costs have tripled with this danged plague.
