Breakthrough, Gary. I called Mrs. @MrEE and requested the red anodizing dye for the Danger brush. It's all being done under the ruse of her friend, Esmerelda, needing a red makeup brush. You don't want to disappoint someone named Esmerelda. :shocked003: Sometimes you just gotta know how to work the system. :git:

Thank you Joe. As of 4:20 this afternoon it is still in the smoker at 184 degrees. I had hope it would be done by now. 16+ hours.
    Smell good though.

Great shave, Evan. The Blue Monster is a gorgeous brush. I am officially now the only 30 DC member that does not use color-coordinated shaving set ups. Back in the day, we were all just here to shave like men and use Tabac. I'm not sure what is happening to our world.

That will be a crazy heavy brush handle! I wonder if blood will keep the steel from rusting?

I do not usually bloom my soaps in the container/mug unless it is a hard soap like Williams or my Santa Fe Soap Ranch. I take a scoop (about almond sized), press it into a bowl, add a little water to bloom and then after the shower whip it into a nice lather. I know you have mentioned that you do not use this procedure.

    Spiffy, Gary. :D
Yes, the tips from Joe # 1 and Joseph (Joe # 2) came in handy. If @JACarbone (Joe # 3) throws a tip my way (don't swim alone, don't play with matches, etc.), I'll go for a trifecta shave sometime this week. ;)
Thanks gentlemen. I hope you're all having a great day.

Nice shave, Charlie! Do you shave with a straight razor?

I really like both, Joe, but the Prince seems to work better for my straight shaves. I would never use it for a safety razor shave.

Thank you, Jeff. I owned a straight razor and a couple of strops for a short time. It was a nice set up, but I didn't enjoy the edge maintenance. I've been spoiled by the edges on half-DE blades and Feather Professional blades.
