    Water, water, everywhere!

    Greetings, all!
    "How's your day?" indeed...
It's raining in Phoenix and snowing in the high country; but that's nothing compared to what California's getting, and we actually enjoy it when we get this sort of thing, so I'm not complaining.

    God is good. :happy108

Greetings to you, friend! I've got an aunt and uncle somewhere in AZ.

...and you're right about God - she is very good! :D

I've got this really weird mental image of Jim wearing fuzzy pants and a hair shirt! :happy102

Its been one of those days... ice on the roads, dog threw up in her kennel overnight so that made for a fun morning of clean up and sliding in the direction of work. After work pick up some things needed for supper. Get home chop veggies, cut up chicken and start working on fajitas... things are good for a while. Then daughter is messing around so I pull the hood on the sweatshirt over my face. Daughter yanks the zipper down and catches my lip. Ugh! Then I go to get out my keychain for a bottle opener... no wallet.

Phone calls to grocery store and trips to multiple icy parking lots later I give up. My beer is still sitting at my desk warm. Oh well, I give up grab the beer and go sit in the recliner. It won't open. Something is inside of the recliner jamming the mechanism. I flip it over and try to find the problem... its my wallet. huh...

my beer is still warm... but I don't care. cheers!

Here are a few snippets from conversations with the daughter today...

Daughter - "but chipmunks can't be that much of a threat, even if they are evil. They don't have disposable thumbs"

Me - "I changed Maisie's food. I think she might be allergic to something in the old food."
Daughter - "Maybe we should take her to the dentist to find out what she is allergic to"

Update to this post: Over the past several months, I've seen this same vehicle many times. She has a child at our hometown elementary school, as do we; and a child at the primary school, again, as do we.
Most mornings, I can tell that we're running a bit late to work if we pass the white Mitsubishi along the way! :rofl

Often see the vehicle in line at one of the two schools each day, or along the way to work. But today was the first time that we were both in the same school picking kids up early....

    W O W

yeah, no doubt I would have gotten whiplash that day, too!

I like warm beer. Yes, I know I'm weird.

I grew up in a military household. My dad spent 21+ years in the active army. My brother spent something like 9 years in the reserves. Wasn't for me so I didn't do it myself, but I can give you the perspective on how military service affects families and loved ones. PM me if you want more detail.

Okay Jim. Put your pants back on, put the drink down, and step away from the couch. Slowly.

    Evening, folks.

The first thing I wanted to post in here was "put your pants on, Jim".

Seems like that's already been covered...
