  1. Maybe Jim's just misunderstood...
  2. Hey there Dom! Good to see you.

    Put your pants on Jim.
  3. perhaps...but where's the fun in that? :D
  4. Same to you, Bill! I hope all has been well.

I think you just need a buddy.

    *takes pants off

  6. All recovered from the accident?

See what happens when you encourage him. :D
  7. :happy036

Unfortunately, no. Everything is fine with the exception of my right wrist. I still can't twist things sometimes. I'm starting to get mildly worried.
  8. That is not good. What has your Doctor said about it?

  9. Um.... Pants++
PUT YOUR PANTS ON, JIM. :D

    ...in bed.

DOM!!! It's good to see you! :happy102
  10.
  11. ...in bed :happy001
  12. :rofl :happy097 :rofl
  13. Dom, as you can probably tell, we've been having maybe a bit too much fun with the middle school humor of late. Too bad you missed fart night! :D:sick007:D

Sorry to hear the wrist is still not working. Is it the hand you use to write? No, you're left handed, right? :think002
  14. okay, that was kinda spooky/strange:

okay, I have one of those indoor/outdoor thermometer dealimabobs, one of the inexpensive ones (read:cheap - good brand, but the cheapest model).
It's most basic one, the indoor unit is small, only shows indoor and outdoor temp, the outdoor unit is a bit smaller, only has a flashing LED (this is important later) to show it's working.
Have had it about 3 years, but haven't replaced the batteries in about 2 years, and here's why:
    A) for such a simple, low power device, these things devour AAA batteries, probably have to replace them once a month.
    B) to use so much battery power, they sure aren't very powerful...indoor and outdoor units are ~20 feet apart, only obstruction is the bedroom window - made of glass, of course - and yet, more the half the time it won't register the outside temp.
So, I gave up and quit changing batteries until I got around to buying a better unit.

Flash forward to tonight, I was out to take the dogs out one last time before going to bed (...in bed), and I notice a steady red light...from the outdoor unit that's been up the past two years with dead batteries....

Not sure I'll be falling asleep tonight, honestly....
  15. That I should see him again if it's not better in 6 weeks or so. Hasn't been quite that long yet. Hopefully, it'll heal up soon, though.

You too, Tom! I saw you mailed something out to me! :D It'll come just in time for my birthday. I'm rather excited.

By the way - I got the MB Pen yesterday and was thoroughly disappointed. Not only was the serial number different, but there was a minor scratch above the clip band near the star, another one below the clip band, a rough spot where the clip band joined the resin, and the jewel was not centered with the clip! Absolutely ridiculous. Needless to say, after more than two weeks of waiting for a nib exchange, I am rather upset. I've already contacted MB and they said they'd take care of it for me. For such an expensive pen, this is ridiculous.

Fart night? I write with my left hand, yes, so that's definitely a good thing. :D
  16. Uh. Wow. Someone playing a trick on you, maybe? Or the Great Pumpkin.
  17. I want to be a cowboy. I don't want to be a panda. Pandas are boring, stupid and boring. Bad panda!
  18. Well then, happy early birthday!!!

MB (via the Tassie rumor mill) will bend over backwards to provide excellent service if they've messed up. I'd suggest you expect something extraordinary.

Speaking of scratched, your Pelikan no longer has a faint cap scratch through your name. :D
  19. Ill be the panda you be the cowboy.
