Well, even though I used a can shave cream, I'll go ahead with my commentary and grade. I had Barbasol and ran it(the can)under a warm tap before applying it. I used a little more cream than before, on a hunch that this plan might do better at preventing cuts/Knicks. In fact, I had zero of each!! Course it means I'll have to go back for more sooner than later, but..as my Dad said many times in situations like this "What's the point of livin'? I'll see if Dad's theory works here. Anyway, just onr pass, as I always do with canned creams/foams. Now to get more shave soap on me than before. We'll see if that cures the problem, so to speak. Osage Rub was niiice to close with. Top Of The World Excellent(rare for a canned cream/foam shave, but I hope to get a trend going here.)

Thank you, Jason! I find the GEM Jr (1912 style) head easier to use most times. The Featherweight is pretty maneuverable though and a good shaver as well.

Thanks Gary....I think it does help can shaves to hold the cans under warm tap water beforehand. How are you?

Fantastic shave, Joe! You should blend well with all of the pumpkin lattes in the teachers' lounge. :D

Superb shave lineup and photo, Clint! I remember how long the Mr. Taylor tube seemed to last you so it must not take a lot of product to create a lather.

Good looking setup and photo, Jim! How long do you let the alum sit on your skin before washing it off? I've used it several times before, but wasn't sure if I was helping or hurting.

    Thank you, Andrew!
I only leave the alum on long enough to get a sense of how my shave was. Twenty to thirty seconds tops. I use it mostly because I like the way it feels as if it's tightening my skin.

Thanks, Jim. I was leaving it on for about a minute, which may be too long.

It's about time you had a fantastic shave, Paul! I am a firm believer that it's not the soap, but your technique that prevents or causes bloody mishaps.
