Just completed 5 consecutive Shaves with The Hiram. Some may find the weight off putting, but once in the hand during the Shave it does not seem noticeable and is excellent when working AGT. Another very comfortable shave with a face stroking finish.

Today is Day 11 of SEptember. Up for the challenge today is my Gem Micromatic OC with No Bumps.

The START Shave Cream face-lathered well with Jayaruh #340 Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gem Micromatic OC No Bumps razor with a Personna GEM SS PTFE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Florida Water. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Very cool looking razor. Looks very similar to a Henckels Rapide. At least the head does.

Yes same hoe type design. Only real difference is the back locking spring.

Le Barbu, modified Schick injector blade, shave 1


French 3pc razor, takes a proprietary blade so I modified an injector blade to use. This razor certainly didn't disappoint it is crazy stupid aggressive like a typical French made razor. The only thing more aggressive than this for an injector and even that is debatable is using an injector blade in a shavette. With that said did have propensity to want to tug more than cut so it would have been manageable to an untrained hand if you could get past the blade feel on it. End result a BBS finish but surprisingly not a glass like finish with a layer or 2 of skin taken off considering how aggressive the razor is.
