Ariana & Evans Chasing the Dragon~~Thäter 4125/2~~2011 Mühle R41/Feather~~Christian Dior Fahrenheit
Primo's back with a vengeance and, after 5 day's growth, mos def© needed a shave.

Up today, this glorious Saturday in September, is a brand new soap from a heretofore,
never before gracing my shave den company: Ariana & Evans.
    Chasing the Dragon.
bergamot, c*nnabis, opium, jasmine, rose, incense, star anise, black pepper, coffee, tobacco, bourbon, agarwood, sandalwood, cedar wood, musk & vanilla.
As you can see, this soap appears to be hand-loaded into the tub.
Consistency is firm, but a long way from triple-milled.

    IMG_5413.jpeg
    However, I decided to
scoop a smaller-than-almond-size amount from the tub and smear it on the bottom of my bowl.
    IMG_5414.jpeg
(This would turn out to be more product than I needed)
The Thäter 4125/2 was well-soaked as well as well wrung-out as I started to lather.
This next picture is before any H2O has been added.

The process was slow, but that's ok, because this is my time and I'll take every available second.
    IMG_5415.jpeg
This is after two breach clearings.
Here's something new I have been trying.
I clear the knot and dip the entire knot in my water.

I then squeeze out the water and go back to the soap.
It has proven to be very successful, especially with soaps that are wont to break.

    IMG_5416.jpeg
Very quickly the lather acquired the shine and density I require.
Results were nothing short of spectacular.

To the shave. I eschewed the SE for one reason,

With all of this facial growth, I decided now was a good opportunity to get the
Van Dyke started and get the side burns to the jawline.
Nothing better for shaping and shaving than the 2011 R41.
    Cleaned up the cheeks.
Shaved the neck to BBS perfection.
(I have stated in the past, that when I have so much beard growth, I can get a BBS on the neck easily)
Made a straight down over the Adam's Apple stroke and paid the Piper.
Tiniest of nicks as a remembrance.
Scent on this soap is what you would expect. Exotic, Asian and if memory serves,
quite close to Opium. Indeed the scent is so lovely, I just purchased a bottle of the EdT.
But for today, I went with another iconic scent:
Christian Dior Fahrenheit, in its original formulation.
    Man, does Primo smell.....

    good. :happy097:

Did your sister get a discount for writing in the "special instructions" part of the order, "Doc Ezlovan, I'm wristwatchb's sister."? Oh that's right..YOU will get the discount for recommending them. Course I don't know Doc Ezlovan's policy on that sort of thing.

One of PAA's soaps has a "drug smell" in it(like the opium-like smell in your soap). That scared me about the PAA soap(I think it is Tombstone). I'll stick with gun-cleaner for my next PAA order.

Right, Joseph-I guess I'd prefer the gun-cleaner smell, as it would remind me of my Dad, who once liked to fire off reports at the range.

    Good morning!

Excellent shave to start the day! Three passes for near BBS. Nearly silent alum.

I chose the OneBlade Hybrid for my 7 day challenge. This razor took me awhile to figure out. I was trying to shave with it like my traditional SE's and DE's, light touch and shallow angle. I was getting nice comfortable shaves but not as close as I like. The razor works better for me with an even shallower angle, the handle nearly perpendicular to my face and pushing in to activate the pivoting mechanism. Long smooth strokes. Excellent finish.

    Have a great day!

I believe that's another 3-stooges reference. I think it was Curly who said "Do I smell good?" and Moe came right back with "Don't worry, you smell.....................................................................GOOD

I just can't become ONE with Xecutive Man....yet. I mean, right, it smells quite good, but I have other preferences for Stoylin.
