    You are welcome, Joseph! I believe it's the first time that I reviewed a soap before any one else tried it. It has a nice scent. It was hyped that it was strong, but I just don't see it and it may be because of my sinuses. However, I smell the Stirling Spice without a problem. Go figure.

    I'm guessing that shaving totally without a guarding mechanism automatically forces one to use optimal angles and pressures.

    It is why it has become my opinion that top shaves using a DE require great greater skills than shaving open edge. It is a point I would have disagreed with at one time.

    I think the false sense of security when using a "safety razor" leads to bad shaves. The open edge is a sink or swim scenario.
