That I do, Joe! I’m enjoying the straights, but this Feather DX needs to be tamed. So that’s the mission fo the next 6 shaves!

Why do you think DE razors yield the mystery ingrown hairs like yesterday and the open edge shaves do not?

Great looking image and setup Andrew! Nice read on the Bay Rums.

Cool razor Evan! Great looking everything, and totally understand waiting on a delivery to shave with the new toys! Done that too

Thanks for the thought, Joe, but actually I have a long way to go with this DX before I can reach my velveteen goal.

Putting Sheetrock on the ceiling was not fun. We were covering up plaster on a 100 year old house. Encountered some difficulty locating the beams. The shoulder did not like it. Thank you

Amazing how familiar scents bring back memories. Proraso Red does that in my world for my grandfathers bathroom. Great looking setup Joe! Don’t work that shoulder too much!

Great shave, Bill! I haven’t forgotten how good Astra blades are! They used to be my regular DE for new razors, until I tried Voskhod.

Great looking shave, Bruce! I had the same experience today when I used the B&M Excelsior based Bay Rum for the first time. I kept adding much more water than I do with other soaps, but it resulted in a fantastic lather.

    Thanks, Blair!
The service was for a friend (wife of another friend/guy I used to work with). She was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease) about 3 1/2 years ago. Brutal disease.
If there’s one thing I’m not short on, it’s soaps and soap samples.

    Thank you, Andrew!
I figured it was going to take on some water. B&M even recommends using lots and lots of water while building your lather. It’s a very nice soap base, which gets quite slick once you get it hydrated enough.

Thank you, Jeff! I hope you’re doing well. I see you’re still falling down the rabbit hole of straights and honing. I could tell you were headed there, even before you realized it. :D
