Good morning, Paul. Congrats on the Super Duper Excellent shave!

May I humbly suggest that you add a step to your routine to help you pick up missed areas? After your last pass, run your hand over your face and neck while your face is slick with lather residue. You'll detect any missed areas and will have a chance to clean them up, if you choose, before you perform the final rinse and post-shave routine. I include this step after each pass to keep tabs on beard reduction. It took awhile for me to remember to do this, but eventually it became automatic. It has been helpful to me, and I hope you also find value in it.

Good job on including references to ice cream in your SOTD. I had a double-dip with my Derby Pie last night, but don't tell anyone.

Have a good day, and I hope all is well with your apartment HVAC. :)

i am glad i stayed with my base gillettes and few blade choices.they have enabled me to get fabulous problem free shaves with proper technique and time invested.even with my variants in gillette types they are all quite similar..in retrospect i have been on a 3+ year gillette focus..

Thank you Charlie...I believe you advised me once before to do this. Clearly it isn't a habit just yet. But you helped return my mind to it. I think I solved the apt. issue-my sliding door was open JUST A BIT. But lots of cold air can squeeze through that JUST A BIT size. I shut it...we'll see what happens tonight.

Sounds good, Paul. You'll get those missed spots, my friend. And then it will be TOTWE!

Having the door cracked open and getting some fresh air is not all bad. Glad to know your HVAC is not on the blink.

@Paul Turner - here's a good example of how to catch missed spots. Check out Nick's video beginning at 8:00.

Glad you're enjoying your blue injector, Gary! Schick always built a great razor, both SE and DE. I shaved with their DE for a very long time. It's a fine DE, although I now prefer other razors, I’ll always keep at least one around.
