    This is my humble kit for the G7DC. Nothing fancy here, but everything works well. Even though I'm shamefully not color-coordinated, I rock a Kent shaving brush and comb. I therefore qualify for Matchy-Matchy points. Both shaves (Thursday & Saturday) were two passes with DFS results. Thursday's shave edged out Saturday by a hair (...edge...hair...see what I did?) due to a small cut under the nose and some chin weepers. All the boo boos were minor, but I consider my best shaves to be blood-free.

    Sometime after the G7DC, I'll swap out the Parker SRX for a Feather AC SS folder loaded with a Feather Super Blade. Timing should work out well, as I'm approaching the half-way point of the shavette focus.

    Joe, hopefully nobody noticed I skipped the Call to Order. With his bunch, I wouldn't have much luck with that. :happy097:

    Come to think of it, I'm not having much luck getting my Red Danger brush from @MrEE, either. I'm joining a Bunko group this week, so hopefully my luck will turn around. #cncfourthaxis

    Thank you, Clint! There isn't a single item from this haul that isn't great. Thanks again for your recommendation of the T3. It's a lather beast.

    Thanks Gary. My gear pales in comparison to some of the fine stuff others have. However, I'm fairly happy with the results I'm getting from the shavette. I think it will be even better as the focus progresses.

    Thanks Joe. I appreciate the kind words. I'm still kind of amazed I can even use a shavette, and it has certainly helped me develop my skill and confidence in using other types of razors.

    Max Sprecher 10/8 Half Hollow Barber's Notch
    Catie's Bubbles Tuxedo Synthetic Brush
    Stirling Spice SS and AS

    Mad Max was on his A game once again. This is only my 10th shave with my superstar. I only needed 2 passes w/o touch ups to get a BBS- shave without any issues on a 30 hr stubble. Finished this fine shave with the Spice aftershave. Sorry, but I will be using the same pic throughout this mini focus. Have a great afternoon guys! 20200911_204101.jpg
