Nice lineup, Charlie! I don't recall ever using a sawcut hair comb. :happy088:
That's a pretty nice scuttle too.

Thanks Charlie! You had more important things on your mind, but I bought this beautiful razor to celebrate my 65th birthday in June. I ordered it in May and Max got it to me in early June.

Thanks Joe. I was almost finished with yesterday's shave when the blade tip caught the area below my nasal septum (appears to be called the Columella). It's tricky to get the area under my nose smooth with a shavette. I can do it, but I simply wasn't careful enough yesterday. Same with my chin...if I work it too much without being careful, I'll get weepers there too. I am making progress on my chin, though, by using ATG and XTG strokes.

Charlie, I've read too many stories of the hazards of Shavettes using DE half blades or even whole blades. The only shavette I own that doesn't use AC blades is the Monsieur Charles which uses injectors. I just feel more comfortable with the heavier blades in open edge shaving. I don't expect to ever use any other shavette/Barber's razor than the ones I currently own.

Point of Order, Chief Shenanigator. Whereas I am not fortunate to locate a local Bunco Group and as such is my predicament, I move that we refer the matter to the Committee so that we may more effectively allocate the brush requests to a more accessible community conduit such as the local Dart Consortium, Avon Lady or Tupperware Party Coordinator. :D

Thank you, Charlie! This focus is mainly targeting better shave stroke efficiency, which will hopefully further improve comfort and continue to reduce any irritation.

Great shave, Jeff! The Schick Revere is a mild razor, for sure. Still fun to use every so often.

That's an excellent finish on a 2 pass shave, Joe! Sounds like you're becoming one with Mad Max.

Thanks, Bruce; the Schick Injector II blade definitely ups its game, but the dang handle is just too long for this old man to use comfortably. I'll be choking up on it tomorrow, and suspect that will solve the dome shaving issue.

Awesome looking setup and photo, Joseph! Only two uses for me with A&E soap so far, and my takeaway from those two lathers...it doesn't take much soap at all to create a ton of lather. That stuff just explodes. And it holds a ton of water.
