September 30 Day/Rule Focus Pix & Discussion

Ever since the gyms have opened in NY, I have been going 6 days a week and sometimes twice a day. I don't view it as a chore because I really enjoy it. I have made gym friends and that makes it more fun. I do stay focused and limit my interaction so I can get the maximum benefit from the workout. Today, I took it easy. I just did 1 set for my shoulders, back and chest whereas I usually do two forms of exercise for those 3 bodyparts.

 

That's a beast of a razor, Jason. Any change to your technique when using it?

i get those same great results with"just off the cap" with my all my gillettes..the mildest techs being the trickiest to maintain the proper angle..

yup..it's a block or so down the hill from me so the river wind is blowing smoke up the street..all i can taste is fireplace..

 

Well I've been shaving with the RR BBS and Voskhod and having lesser shaves. BBS shaves are requiring much more touchup than with the Gillette SB's I'd had. That is surprising.
I try a GSB with this Tabac to see if it is the change in soap or blades or prep. Formerly I was working through my Lucky Tiger Liquid Shave Cream to clear up counter space Mayhap I'm not using enough water with the Tabac Stick or whatever.
Maybe I had the magic combination already.

 

Great shave, Bill! C’mon, cut me a break; I’m going 6 shaves instead of 7! And yes, shiny is nice! But seriously, the Seki AS-D2 has been identified as a mild razor, when in fact it has an extremely narrow sweet spot, that once dialed in is highly efficient. When I was discharged from the hospital back in January, it took down 2 weeks growth effortlessly and delivered the beautiful VBBS I had been craving. So in that sense, maybe you’re on to something!
