Lol! Thanks David! She is well-balanced and she is a pretty easy razor to shave despite her size. I picked the half hollow grind because I didn't want an extremely heavy razor.

Great shave, Doug! Floid Blue is rapidly becoming unobtanium. Enjoy it while it lasts.

Great shave, Doug! Hopefully you have some backup on the Floid Blue as it is now unobtanium.

That's correct. I'm finding it easier to maintain the most efficient angle and not feel the need to reshave on the un-lathered areas.

A couple yous guys have a BGE. Bought some toys late last week, put them to the test this afternoon.

Ceramic Grill Store (bout 30 miles away). Candy store for ceramic grill fans.

XL Woo adjustable rig combo w/20 inch grate and XL Cuna Kart. Added some of their charcoal dividers at the bottom also. Half as much charcoal used for a quick BBQ. Top shelf is keeping warm brats & toasting portobello mushrooms. Bottom shelf grilling some chicken thighs.

If you click into the image, you can see the ember division.

The Adventures of Max Headroom Day 5

Stirling Piacenza today, a mask friendly scent.

Astra on 2, probably the ideal day.

Still working on my angles. It is difficult on this piece to stay on the blade at low pressure without the cap or the guard coming into play. Sharper blade is better.

Finished out with a CMHVVBBS Level 5 shave. Won't pass a barber's board cotton ball test, but a Certified Max Headroom Visual Velveteen Baby's Bottom Smooth Level 5 always leaves me comfortable and smiling.

Getting better with this tool. There just might be something to this 30 Day Crew rule/focus thing. New shavers should give it a try.

I'm always focusing on only one stroke of a "lathered" area per pass. Did my normal 3.5 passes including ATG work today.

Anybody ever count how many passes internet superstar shavers actually make in a "3 pass shave"?

Count up all those quick 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th swipes on a single lather. Bring a pad and pencil. You will be amazed.

My opinion; don't wonder why you have irritation, if you do that. Especially with crummy soap.
