I thought I was off to a bad start with my shave today, as just when I had a nice amount of Barbasol in my hand(cloud-like, not squiggly), it dropped right into the sink full of water! I casually picked it up, and found that it still resembled the "cloud" it was pre-drop. That was a pleasant surprise. One pass(as I do with all creams/foams.). Babe Ruth and Knute Rockne had it right when they sponsored this. I think it's fair to say those fellas were true American sportsmen. No cuts/Knicks. All areas covered well, except for a small section on the north end of Cactus Nation. I'll kill it off tomorrow. Classic finish with Osage Rub. Super Duper Excellent.

French frameback meets three days of stubble. A little more work than usual but excellent result :happy036:

I tried out my homemade roo and linen strop today (thanks @Steve56 for helping out with the sourcing of materials.) Easier than I expected and I think easier than the paddle I’ve been using for years. I plan on getting used to it slowly. :happy088:

    Sept. 16, 2020 - Spearhead Wednesday

    Prep: Hot Shower
Brush: Jefferson The Fae - B9B
    Razor: Gillette RFB Tech
    Blade: Gillette Platinum (5)
    Lather: Spearhead Experimental 20.1A
Post Shave: Declaration Grooming - Sellout - Aftershave

Didn't have much time this morning so I decided to use the Spearhead soap I have. Really lathers up quickly and really doesn't need a whole lot of load time to develop a thick lather. This is good stuff. I sometimes get a little tingling sensation from one of the frag ingredients but not today. Really like this scent. For those who have not tried this soap, Spearhead will be releasing a couple new soaps in Oct.

RFB going strong - I think I still prefer the solid bar over the open comb but overall no issues with the razor.

Busy Wednesday here - have a good one all!
