At the 4th shave, I was comfortable with the razor. At shave 8 which was prior to this focus, it was second nature. This is the 13th shave with Mad Max so it's still second nature. I wanted to see how this razor shaves with lighter stubble (under 30 hrs) since I usually bring it out when my beard is thicker. Also, I wanted to experiment using different strokes to get better results. These were the reasons why I chose to shave with Mad Max to see what I am capable of doing with this razor. In car talk, you don't go full throttle until the engine is broken in according to its specs.

I’ll do a video after you do one, Blair, how’s that! ;)And in all fairness there was hardly any stubble to shave!

David, the fool’s pass with a straight razor is shaving ATG under the nose. One slip up and it’s a sliced schnozz!

Thanks, Blair, I’m going to touch it up on the jasper and Imperial La Roccia stones. Would you recommend taping the spine?
