yeah, I imagine it is a bit bigger in Louisiana than Texas, although being so close to Shreveport we hear a lot about it.

And all my extended family down in Mobile are pretty big into it, as well.

speaking of coffee...today is the first time I've used my Aeropress in 2010!!!!

I know what you're thinking, how could such a critical component of daily use go for 1.5 months unused?
short answer...
first week after Christmas break...I forgot it at home after bringing it from work for a good cleaning and use over the break. (partly not entirely my fault, my wife kept putting it in the cabinet somewhere, not realizing it doesn't go in the cabinet)
the next week, and the 4 to follow it....kept forgetting to bring coffee to work to use.
last week...had coffee, had aeropress...no excuses, just ran out of time
today....ahhhhhhh!

 

I'm particularly proud of the reflection.
